This is an opportunity for sailors interested in joining GBA deliveries and bluewater classes to demonstrate their competence and fitness. This is not a class. This is a vetting sail for those who feel they are at or beyond the ASA 106 or Advanced Coastal Cruising level. All crew needs to bring their own safety equipment. Tethers and harnesses will be used.
Meet at 17:00 to discuss personal safety gear and rig the boat. The crew disbands gets dinner and meets at the boat at 21:00. The captain will motor the boat out of the marina and the crew will take over sailing out cattle pass. Once out of the pass, we will put in a reef and once back into Griffin Bay we will set the spinnaker.
Back around 01:00.
Accomadations avalable.
There will be a clinic in the afternoon covering safety equipment for both vessels and sailors heading offshore.
